Featured Published Artist - Luthbel

As part of a month-long spotlight on Published Artists, Luthbel is being featured at DAZ 3D today.

Luthbel's best known for his fantastic outfits. We caught up with this 3D costume designer this week for a quick chat.

Here's what we found out:

DAZ: Where are you from?
Luthbel: I´m from Valencia (Spain). I´m currently living in Valencia city, and moving eventually to Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), to visit my couple and his family.

DAZ: What is your specialty in 3D?
Luthbel: I'm not sure what to answer, because I love both to model and texture work, and I try to increase my skills in all the developement process project by project. I feel very comfortable creating clothing and props, and any organic modeling.

DAZ: How did you get started in 3D?
Luthbel: It began as a game, learning by myself 3DS Max and Photoshop in my free time at the university. I've been modeling for about 10 years.

DAZ: Have you studied any other art mediums?
Luthbel: Yes, I have studied Fine Arts in the Polytechnical University of Valencia, I´m specialist in traditional Sculpture, but the truth is that all my studies related with 3D art are selfmade.

DAZ: What is your most popular product?
Luthbel: Both Wildenlanders for Victoria 3 and Michael 3. I love to see images of the community using these products. Even being old products, its popularity seems that never stops :)

DAZ: What can you tell us about yourself that no one else knows?
Luthbel: Heh, I suppose there´re a lot of things. I love to read, see movies and play videogames, but I suppose that the more visible feature of myself is that I love to be a helpful person when it is in my hand.

DAZ: Is there anything else you’d like to say to the Customers at DAZ 3D?
Luthbel: THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. I began to produce 3D content in a really hard moment of my life, and the fact that I was accepted in the community is really special for me, That´s the reason I´m really thankful with the community, my costumers, and DAZ.
